How to embed video and other content in your posts
#5287Here’s a short guide on how to embed YouTube or Vimeo videos on your posts. This also works for SoundCloud and other sites which you can view here

“WordPress will automatically turn the URL into a YouTube embed and provide a live preview in the visual editor.
If WordPress fails to embed the URL, the post will contain a hyperlink to the URL
Posting https://soundcloud.com/skeewiff/skeewiff-feat-siri-know-how on it’s own line will result in
If it’s own the same line as other text it will be turned in to regular link automatically.
Posting http://vimeo.com/channels/staffpicks/118045876 on it’s own line will result in.
If it’s own the same line as other text it will be turned in to regular link automatically.
If you somehow manage to mess this up you can edit your topic from the edit topic link on the toolbar at very top of the page.
Works for imgur links too..
