“A topic for all the budding artists in our community, post your art and let all the monkeys see it :D”
I’ll start with a couple photos I took last week during the Lappeenranta International Airshow ’13.
Love the first one. What camera and equipment are you using?
I’ve been loving my Sony NEX-C3. Using either the std. 15-55 mm lens or old legacy lens (centon f.1.7 50mm etc.) – really cheap to buy legacy lenses and just an adapter, some of them have better glass than Sony’s std. lenses.
I was using Canon 100mm with x2 teleconverter.
Beats a camera phone 😛 Looks nice
lol Karl, but true its all the in the eye of the beholder. I’ve seen some pretty good pictures from phones.
Fx. this one from a Samsung S3.
Macro Galaxy S3. by man mahachai
Phones do have decent cameras. And for something like landscapes you could do just fine using a phone, since the cameras on phones have high depth of field, which is quite useful on landscape photography.
Couple more photos.. I took these with my phone earlier this year while going to work. Almost had to turn around and go back home to get a proper camera. ;P
Here’s a wip screenshot of my next TF2 contribution project. 😀 Since Halloween is fast approaching I figured I’d give it a shot and make wizard staff for Pyro with custom particles and all. Ideally I want to make custom animations too.
Model positioning is done and dummy textures are in place. 🙂
Couple photos of headphones.
And also a banner I did for etf2l season18 banner contest. Make sure to vote me once the voting starts. ^^
Like the first picture. What do you use to edit your RAW files?
Edited one of my old pics with my old cat (RIP)
Mostly Lightroom. I only use Photoshop for trickier stuff like focus stacking.
Darktable looks pretty good for a free software. http://www.darktable.org/
You should make a big print of that cat photo. It looks like it would look awesome on a wall.
Now this looks like a thread I could get behind!
Absolutely loving that cat picture above and those headphones too.
How do I put an image into my reply?
Click the ‘img’ button on the reply form and paste the url of your image to the text box. Unfortunately you’re going to have to host your images on some service like imgur/facebook as there’s no option currently to upload images directly to this site.
Well, here’s an image of mine 🙂
Nice shot Hyfrith. Looks like it would do well as a wallpaper. What kind of equipment do you shoot with?
Some old shots with my Sony NEX-C3 and a 30 year old Pentax-K 50mm f1.7 lens.
